The bid on my painting Gathering went up to $900; The high bid for a Ted Harrison painting went up to $7500.00. It seemed that most pieces had bids. The Retreat have some breathing room for a time with expenses covered.
The overall layout up at Mount McIntyre here in Whitehorse created a welcoming ambience; high ceilings warm lighting, great view of the mountains and great food. Aurora Delights came through with their appetising delectables. Live music gave a classy touch. Five of us artists from Yukon Artists @ Work volunteered as servers.
